About the Wine Trails
Five opportunities to enjoy the Wine Country of Texas even more.Five times a year, we plan special Wine Trail Events to make your visits even more rewarding. The trails are self-guided driving tours, with wineries offering special tastings of newly released wines, demonstrations and tours. Some even pair wine and food (like wine and handmade chocolates for Valentine’s Day!). You’ll meet the winemakers and hear first-hand their enthusiasm for what they do. The trails are also a chance to enjoy legendary Hill Country musicians, artists, chefs and entertainers of all kinds.
You’ll find more specific information on each trail, including dates and prices, under the “Wine Trails” tab on this site. Note that some wineries charge for tastings, must be notified of groups of 8 or more and have pet restrictions (just look for those icons on individual winery pages).
Becker Vineyards
The 46 acres of French Vinifera vines generate 8 different available varietals, including Syrah, Petite Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec, Petite Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

Spend a lazy afternoon in the Corral or picnicking by Spring Creek located on Chisholm Trail property while watching longhorn cattle and quarter horses roam freely. Grape Creek Vineyards
A limestone campanile, or bell tower, stands at the edge of the road silently declaring there is something significant here, something you shouldnt pass by. So you turn onto the gravel drive and wind your way up the hill through rows of Chenin Blanc grapevines until you reach the rustic villa at the top. Its sun-drenched ochre walls, roughhewn, massive wood beams buttressing a dappled clay tile roof, oak-shaded patios, fountain, and rows of grapevines stretching toward the horizon are exactly how you pictured Tuscany would be. But youre not in Italy, youre in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Directions to Marburger Orchard Take U.S. Highway 875 miles south of Fredericksburg or 16 miles north of I-10. Watch for sign. Turn onto Meusebach Rd. Follow signs to 559 Kuhlmann Rd.
Rancho Ponte Vineyard
Rancho Ponte is a family-owned winery, established in 2009 and located just 5 miles east of Fredericksburg. Wines are sold exclusively at the winery. We do not have outside distribution. Our beautiful winery and tasting room are nestled on 20 acres, surrounded by cattle and horse ranches. We are open daily 11AM to 5PM, Sat 11AM to 6PM. Wine Tasting includes a Free Logo Glass.
